Travel Guide Reviews

★★★★★ - Karin E, July 7 2023

“I recently spend a week in Paris and downloaded the Paris Explorer Guidebook right before we left. My husband and I have been to Paris before but learned about so many additional things to do that we had never done before. We especially loved the Google Map with site pins - we used that the whole time to visit various places. On the Guidebooks recommendation, we ate dinner at Le Christine and it was one of the best restaurants we've been to in Paris. I enthusiastically recommend this Guidebook to anyone going to Paris for the first time or the 10th time. It's great!”

“What I loved most about our Charlotte to Paris travel plan was that it was flexible - we told Lauren that we enjoyed some structure, but also time to relax and wander and see where the day took us. Our plan gave us so many recommendations that wherever we ended up, we knew that there was a place we could try without having to pick a random place and risk a bad experience. Also, her tips and tricks were right on, and really helped us navigate the city like pros!” ~ Kim

Trip Highlights: “Angelina's in Versailles for the chocolat chaud, Laduree for the BEST ever macarons, and Le Mary Celeste. Yes, those are all food experiences!! No regrets!!”

“Fantastic detail in this guide that we are using to plan our family trip to Paris. Lauren has been wonderful and helpful to work with! We are using this guide to plan the restaurants we will visit and also to plan which neighborhoods we are going to visit. The breakdown of restaurants/sightseeing/shopping by neighborhood is super useful and the "walking tour" sections will be invaluable. Highly recommend this guidebook whether it's your first or seventh visit to Paris!”

Jean A, January 9 2023

“Everything was fabulous! We made it Rouen and our lady of miraculous medal (twice actually- we went back for the gift shop). The itinerary was great. We did pretty much all of it. The only thing we didn’t do  was some of the lunches or dinners depending on where we were or just too tired. Thanks again- we really appreciated it all and we loved it! Stephanie was fabulous by the way at the Louvre! She made it so interesting! Thanks for that recommendation too!!!”

“The details in the Daily Itinerary along with the custom Google Map made it really easy to anticipate and navigate through the day… The travel guide makes it easy to make reservations for museums, venues and restaurants, with the information overview for each location and links provided to each website. There is so much to see, learn and experience in Paris, that I believe any traveler to Paris would benefit-both novice and frequent visitors.”

Trip Highlights: “I am so glad that I took 2 different private tours of the Louvre with a guide from Paris Muse! I gained so much knowledge and appreciation of the art and the building, that I would always recommend visiting the Louvre with a professional guide. Thank you Charlotte to Paris for this recommendation!

I took a Lunch River Cruise soon after my arrival. It was a great way to get an overview of many key landmarks and just enjoy the beauty of the city.

Oh, and every meal was delicious! Several of the restaurants you recommended are a must on my return trip to Paris!”

“I enjoyed the flexible nature of the plans — the daily itinerary was built in such a way we could pick and choose what we wanted to do, and getting sidetracked for a few hours didn’t mean the day was ruined. Essential for a low pressure vacation. I also appreciated how thoughtful the itinerary was with keeping activities grouped to certain neighborhoods.” ~ Maury
